WTF!!!

Angry about Prop 8 anyone? I can not believe that we are still not ready to accept people for who they are, not what their sexual orientation is...WTF!!!
Who gives us the right to say who can or can not be with the person they love. Yes, marriage may only be a "piece of paper," but who the hell cares. As a straight, married women, who has "been there" in the past, I don't think it matters whether a person has boy parts or girl parts, it matters whther or not the emotional and spiritual connection is there between two people. I am seriously appalled that we are so closed-minded and DUMB, that we allow our personal vendetta's to get in the way of letting people be themselves and be with the person they love, regardless of if they have a vagina or a penis...

Tough times ahead...

So, today is election day.  Unless we have a repeat of 8 years ago we will know who is next president is very shortly.  I know who I want to win, but regardless of the outcome I hope that whoever does win can handle what's ahead.  Our country is a mess right now.  And I feel for whoever is victor.  Americans wants results now and, let's be honest, it's going to take time to fix things.  I honestly don't know if things can be reversed within 4 years.  But you can be sure that the neigh sayers will have their fill of complaints while the next president works to try to make things better during his term.  

Anybody else feel this way?
